Course Description:  Instructors will guide their class through a simple case study progressing to more complex ones. Lunch will be provided.

INV301: Advanced Outback Power Systems Inverter Training

Course Description:  Upon completion of this 7 hour workshop, participants will gain an understanding of the capacity and capability of Outback Power Systems inverters. Lunch will be provided.

LSES Solar Tour of Homes: Saturday, October 3rd

The LSES Solar Tour of Homes is Saturday, October 3rd from 11am to 2pm. This year, 12 of the 18 stops on the tour are Gulf South Solar installations! View the PRESS RELEASE

How To Take The Tour

Gulf South Solar recommends that you should plan to see one or two sites that are close to you.  Look at the and plan your tour.  Email  LSES and they will register you for your desired tour sites.   The hours are set for the convenience of the solar owners that graciously open their homes and businesses for strangers on this day.

GSS Annouces New Training Classes

IMG_5050smGSS recently added new classes to their regular dealer training lineup. New to GSS Training are Solar Hot Water Heater Installation courses, Solar Marketing, and Sunkits Sales Training. The BRCC Installer Training course is the only registered provider for the NABCEP®  entry level PV exam in Baton Rouge and was designed and is lead by GSS Instructors.

Solar Powered Car in Baton Rouge!

A team located in Buffalo, NY started a project called Solar Car Project.  They built a solar powered car to travel the globe, where the journey began in the Great Lakes area on June 12, 2008.  They travelled West to Oregon and Washington and up to Canada and in the Arctic Circle!
