Today, Gulf South Solar announces their new group buying sales promotion, 1Solar Block. This program is designed to enable neighbors to ban together and obtain wholesale pricing on the cost of their solar power systems. If you’ve ever dreamed of going solar but was put off by the cost, then this promotion was made just for you! By grouping installs in one geographic area and timing installations together, GSS can leverage efficiencies to lower installation and equipment costs – passing the savings on to their customers.
To get started, interested homeowners organize roughly 10 or more of their neighbors in one subdivision or town. GSS will go out to the neighborhood and give a presentation on how the program works and answer questions about the different types of systems available to them. When 5 or more homeowners agree to move forward, get a site analysis and agree to purchase a system, these homeowner will get the 1Solar Block price on their installation.
